this is outstanding, subtle in some ways, not a total fruit bomb, just as fermentation driven as fruit which is cool, tart but not crazy sour, impressively mature, really enjoyed this, and cool to have it on tap after the flow of draft from these guys to idaho seems to have slowed to a trickle, at least compared to what it used to be when they were first coming around. lightly cloudy, fizzy but not holding a lot of head, darker than yellow but lighter than orange really, very soft rust color, a little muted. the nose is funky, the wood aged aspect is obvious, some tannins from the oak and some cool wild character on display, lemony tang sets up ripe sweet real apricots really well, notes of chardonnay and even champagne to me, faint white pepper, lots going on here, more and more complex as it sits too, lightly belgian later. real vinous in the flavor, some bacterial tartness, lemon and orange to me along with the apricot, which is fleshy and authentic but not dominant, drier overall i think than expected, but easy to identify as apricot, subtle peachy sweetness i suppose, but quicker finishing, rushed a tad by the sourness. nice woody character too, which adds richness, and there is some wild type bretty funk adding complexity, wheat based it seems, simple at its core, very vinous overall as well. medium in body, a little light on the carbonation maybe, but delicious stuff, in line with others in this style space these guys have done, a joy to drink on tap, huge fan of pretty much all they do!

This flavor profile is a journey. With notes of Tang and Kroger's brand balsamic vinegar, this finishes with last week's college basement bathtub spode and a hint of licking the yeast infected urethra of a lemon. And yet, it everyone must try bacteria-infected beer at least once, or you haven't lived. If you survive, don't forget the penicillin!

Murky orangey golden body with a thick white collar. Brett, lightly sour apricot, and faint over ripe tropical fruit in the nose. Taste adds more sourness but the finish has a slight medicinal note, thin profile. Body is medium sized, bright, playfully sour, but kind of still and bland. Nothing makes this one stand out, not in a good or bad way
