Batch 1. Purchased from a local bottleshop on sale. Served cold in a standard pint glass.

Poured mostly-clear, purple-red from the berries. Aroma was typical of a good mixed ferm. Smell is fruity with a small amount of funk.

Taste was very, very good. Well balanced acidity with characteristics of a lambic, despite not being from Belgium. Noticeable Brett funk is extremely balanced with fruit sweetness, slight tannins from skin contact, and acidity from both fruit and LAB.

Split between a few sample glasses. Batch 1.

Clear purple-red, little head, lots of carb. Smell is berries and tartness.

Taste is bright raspberry and super tart, juicy, lots of fruit skin bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light and effervescent. Overall, very nice.

Pours a vibrant deep raspberry red. Little to know head formation with lively carbonation.

Light funk on the nose. Raspberry punches well above the blueberry which is probably a good thing. The blueberry is there though, but understated.

Tart. Bright fresh fruit on the tongue. The raspberry isn’t as distinct as it is in the aroma, but that may be due to the use of golden raspberries, the flavour of which i am not familiar. There is something else there as well, but I can’t put my finger on it. Earthy. This is very good.

Light bodied with ample effervescence. Bright and cheerful.

This is an excellent mixed fermentation fruited wild beer. The fruit is fresh and full. The tartness is balanced. The funk pokes through just enough. Really good.
