Poured golden orange with a finger of bright white head. Aroma of banana, hay, and light spice.
Moderate carbonation and a creamy, full mouthfeel. Sweet caramel mixed with big apple and pear up front with gentle funk and just a bit of spice lingering on the finish.
Pretty overt fruit character here, but it doesn't overpower the funkier elements. Nice!

A: Poured a nice straw color with good carbonation leaving a nice white cap, sombe bubbles and light lacing
S: Intial whiff is hay and lots of fresh orchard style fruits(pears, apples) with a light banana and barnyard punch.
T: Does it taste as good as it smells? Better. The taste presents a nice barnyard upfront with hay, light must and citrus. Midway a light dash of spice and pepper wash across the palate as does more grass , pears and lighter citrus notes. The finsih is pretty clean, dry, subtle bitterness.
M: Medium bodied, a light sweetness, tart, well carbonated.
O: Good. After one I wanted another but the selection of other good E-9 and guest beers swayed me. Maybe next time...
