The sequel to our previous DIPA, Make'em Wait...and one of the rare times when the sequel is as good as the original. Wait For It is a fresh, bright, creamy Double IPA with aromas of mango and passionfruit.

Pours a hazy, unfiltered yellow with a robust head of foam. Aroma is very peachy with an overtone of orange. There is a sweet, candy flavor, along with the DIPA style. Hops are beautifully balanced. Highly drinkable.

Mostly opaque. I can see a little shadow through a few inches of brew. Medium-light yellow color. Medium-fine head that goes away quickly, not leaving much lacing.
There's a good amount of peach scent. Some astringency tied to orange and pineapple. There's a touch of pine. It's pretty sweet. Overall, it's nice and rich, with tons of fruit.
The taste has less fruit than I'd have expected, but it brings along a pleasant woodsy flavor. The peach moderates, as does the citrus. It's sweet, but again, the balance is right. Lemongrass and light wood. Bitterness is barely detectable, and it has a slightly savory bent.
Plenty of carbonation, foamy even, but it's also prickly. Alcohol is a bit more present than usual for an eighter. The vegetation is the main aftertaste, with the sweetness still present, yet the fruit further diminished.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass; no production data.
A: Pours a nearly opaque, dark golden color with a two finger, foamy, off-white head, a bit more than rim retention, but fairly sudsy racing lacing.
S: Aromas of white grapefruit, orange, caramel, and pine predominate. Evolves to more mango, caramel, and passionfruit as it warms. Complex and enjoyable.
T: No more than semisweet. Complex with flavors of orange (zest especially) caramel, pine, and honey/cane sugar. More of a candy flavor late. Very balanced bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes cleanly without astringency evident.
O: Heard Joe Correia & John Dantzler on Steal this Beer. Really wanted to try something they made and not disappointed. I will say this had the strongest true orange nose and palate (at first) I can recall in a long time. Delicious.

A: The beer is very hazy cloudy to yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving lots of small specks of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of mangos are present in the nose along with strong notes of passionfruit.
T: The taste of this beer has lots of flavors of mangos and passionfruit. No bitterness is percpetible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England-style IPA is quite tropical in nature and has a good balance between the flavors of mangos and passionfruit.
Serving type: can

Feel: Average feel for a DIPA.
Overall: A very interesting beer, complex hops and a little bitterness.

Can from the brewery in Manhattan during the 2020 COVID pause. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white head, smell is orange zest with slightly spicy/dank pine and tropical bubblegum, hints of caramel sweetness, mango, and grape must, taste is orange juice concentrate, orange zest, and candied orange flesh, hints of mango and caramel sweetness, finishes with a nice pithy bitter kick, feel is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a dry almost prickly finish. Tropical caramel dipped orange on a stick!
