Introducing Blanc Slate, a dry lager featuring the wonderfully unique Hallertau Blanc hop, which is a German cousin of American Cascade hops. It’s got a lovely and mild white wine-like aroma and a lightly bitter finish. It’s also the only beer name we’ve ever made that violates our incredibly strict no pun rule…but it was too easy.

Clear, golden yellow body; decent carbonation; relatively thin head, lasting, a bit sticky, and semi-creamy. Nice, fresh and spicy hop aroma. Excellent taste; clean with a light touch of malt and a light hop bitterness, herbal with a light wood character. Light body with an excellent mouthfeel; slight prickliness on the palate; semi-dry finish.
Overall, this is a nice lager. It has plenty of depth and character while offering some excellent refreshment to the palate.

Can from Whole Foods on the UES NYC. Pours a clear light amber/straw yellow with a finger of rocky white head that sticks around, nice lacing, smell is cereal malts, light wheat bread, sweet grains, light white grape, mild grassiness, taste is wheat bread, sweet grains/corn, mild white grape juice, medium grassy spicy bitterness on the finish, feel is light, assertive carbonation, medium carbonic bite, dry finish. A spicy and sweet effervescent lager.
