marketed just as beer, kind of interesting, but done with all wyoming ingredients which is rad, its real light, just a simple yellow type, im not even sure its a lager, the bartender certainly wouldnt commit to that when i asked, but perhaps more confusion than intentional misdirection there. i like this because its real clean and minimal, no real flaws to it, not adjuncty or cheap tasting, and its drinkable as they come, bright and refreshing, well carbonated, dry, and without any real yeast character. its not really boring either though, as there is a little something interesting to the grain, just pale barley, but being wyoming grown must distinguish it a little bit, some minerals to it, an earthy crackery vibe, but its all gone before the finish. i also like the body being real light but not watery, its a ripper but its not thin. ill never get too excited about this sort of thing, but its nice to have another option in this style thats better than the macro stuff and uses local ingredients, neat idea for their yellow beer and i am a fan. its one of their lead dogs, they were slinging this like crazy when i was in.
edit: about the same from the can more than four years later, light and fairly tight, almost a cream ale thing to it, mellow but still maybe a bit distinctive because of the locally sourced ingredients, which i respect. good no frills macro adjacent drinker with great carbonation...

On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom.
Pours a clear straw yellow with a short lasting head of foam.
Smell is very grainy, corny, sweet.
Taste is very grainy, lots of corn, rather sweet, light bodied, not that good in the refreshing department. 1 and done.
