Tar black with almost no head to speak of but for a fine, creamy thin chain. However, a tilt heavily stains the glass brown with a filmy residue.
Heavy on coffee, which actually thins it out a bit, it still delivers a pretty tasty mocha character accented by slightly toasty almond slivers.
Although I don't get so much barrel or coconut character, it's a sweet breakfast treat.

Poured viscous black with very little head. Glossy and oily at the surface. Heavy coconut macaroons and vanilla at the nose. As it warms up, mocha coffee presents. Bourbon throughout without overwhelming the nose. The taste...wow. Very rich and sweet. Heavy bittersweet cocoa, coconut, vanilla, coffee, and bourbon. It’s all there, no sharp contrast between each, it just blends together in collaboration. The complexity is almost beyond comprehension, tons of sweetness, balanced by the bitterness with a finish of bourbon. Very velvety and smooth mouthfeel. As one friend said: It's like you took a piece of silk and soaked it in a melted bourbon filled candy bar.
