2020 release. Poured like a liquid brownie batter into the glass. It's so thick and pitch black with very little head. A little bit of sediment (coconut?) floated at the top. The nose is heavy bourbon, sweet chocolate with a whiff of coconut. Very sweet, very decadent. Then upon sipping, it hits me with deep rich sweet chocolate layered with bourbon making this beer insanely boozy. The coconut comes in, not too heavy and not too light, just perfect. Could describe this like eating an Almond Joy coated in another layer of chocolate and soaked in bourbon. The mouthfeel is thick and boozy, the warmth comes through each sip. Overall, this is a heavy sipper. The front label leads you to believe this is an easy and fun beer to drink, but be warned, it's a heavy one.
