The pop of the can top tosses out some exotic hop aromas - like kiwi. The pour reveals a nicely hazy straw colored beer with a soapy white head that looks like my Mr Bubble bubble bath soap. The nose has something exotic like kiwi going on, and it’s very herbal as well. Very interesting.

The taste has that herbal note, and LOADS of lemon - like a LOT of lemon. It’s really refreshing and (as the can states) very crushable. Medium mouthfeel, and VERY dry.

This is not your father’s APA - very adventurous flavor profile, and one I’m glad I got to try.

16oz can (no date) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a very cloudy medium yellow color with 3/4 inch of white head that moderate retention and lacing.

The aroma was lead by frooty hops, mostly pineapple and citrus, with just a light bit of pine in the background. No real malt/grain aspect.

Similar on the tongue, with the addition of some skunkiness.

The body was medium-light, smooth, and had a medium-dry finish.

Drinkability was fine, but the skunk factor wore me out pretty quickly.

Overall, a solid enough beer. worth a shot if you see it.

16oz can served in a snulip. No date on it. Bought it at Ridgewood Bottle and Tap two days ago.

Pours a moderately hazy light yellow with a fairly large head that collapses to a clumpy ring pretty quickly. Smell is herbal, almost minty green, leafy.

Taste is very nice -- this is a good model for a fresh hop pale ale. Pale ale lightness and balance and character is there, I get light grainy/breadiness -- balanced with really clear green fruit skin notes, maybe a bit of melon rind, and a good but not overwhelming dose of resin bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light, almost airy, dry and clean. Single Hill did a good job here.
