Ah, still another Oktoberfest brew to try! It has been a good year for them and Single Hill's is well-flavored and tangy. Pours a clear amber-orange with plenty of foam in the big Duvel tulip. Rich with malty flavors but not very sweet, followed by a scratchy hop note. Flavors of cereal, pear, green herbal notes, and a grainy finish. Sudsy mouthfeel. The aftertaste is distinctly more bitter than the Helles types of festbiers, making for a pleasing quaff. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Canned 09 SEPT 2024.

16oz can served in a pint glass. Dated 09 Sep. Got it at the brewery yesterday, sort of.

Pours clear light golden, with maybe two fingers of bone white, coarse head, that settles into a big fluffy thick ring and a dusting with big fluffy islands. Smell is grainy and grassy, clean, slight yeast/bready aroma.

Taste is grain tea, tons of honeysuckle, a bit of grassy bitterness, maybe some orange blossom.

Mouthfeel is dry, light, clean. Overall, this is a very nice beer.
