Crisp like a grissini breadstick, this Italian-Style pilsner showcases old world hops on the nose, with a easy and refreshing pilsner malt base.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Can is dated 23 Dec. Bought it a couple days ago at Chuck's Hop Shop.
Pours clear light yellow, medium to small head, moderate active carbonation after the pour. Smell is lemon, lime zest, a little pine and bread.
Taste is much more intense than the nose suggested. bread is the first impression, but decorated thickly with lemon and lime candy. Interestingly and pleasantly, the sweetness is transitory and a nice bitterness builds, not exactly piney, much more in the light and refreshing citrus zest zone.
Mouthfeel is very light, soft, airy. Very nice beer, not as crisp as I was expecting.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 12/23/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a tiny dash of haze and a light effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy eggshell foam.
Smell: crackery, slightly grainy malt with an earthy and grassy hop profile.
Taste: moderately sweet malt with that same crackery character, along with a kind of dry-grass flavor from the hops and a rather bracing bitterness. That bitterness is near the high end of the scale for what I like in the style, but it's still good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a good Italian pils. I think it'll be on the bitter side for a lot of people, even for the style, but it works for me.
