473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Feb 27 2019 and served well chilled.
Pours just a little hazy with a pale golden-coloured body; situated atop there is half a finger of frothy white head that holds together for less than two minutes' time. A thin collar is the only remnant of note; looks fine to me. The aroma is clean and subtle, with only a hint of grainy pale malts and corn sugar sweetness, the latter possibly being from the whisky.
Tastes fine taken as a standard craft lager, but as others have noted the barrel staves do not seem to have had much of an impact on this lager at all, really. It tastes of grainy pale malts, with very subtle hints of apple skin; the flavour profile itself leans sweet, but the aftertaste is off-dry, with maybe a hint of woody astringency that I may or may not be imagining. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that lends a crisp bite to this smooth, refreshing pale lager.
Final Grade: 3.48, a B-. I don't know how well the oak stave gimmick holds up in the end, but I still found Rockpoint to be an above-average craft pale lager. Very simple, and very drinkable - and I can't argue with that on a warm summer's night, especially not at $2.65 a can, which is less than most lagers of this stripe go for these days. I'll always be more of a pilsener guy, but I could still see myself picking this up once in a while on a whim.

Review from notes. LCBO purchase for around $3 CDN for the 473ml can.
Appearance - Slightly hazy, pale golden color. A finger of quickly receding head on top. Sparse lacing.
Smell - Clean and grainy with some caramel notes. Possibly a touch of oak. A little too sweet for what little aroma is there.
Taste - Pretty mild, light bit of grain but not much flavor. Not tasting any oak.
Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied, crisp and clean with middling carbonation.
Overall - Not bad, but not spectacular. Worth a try for those with the desire to try all lagers. Not getting very much if any oak either.
