Hefeweizen is probably my least favorite style of beer. That said, this beer really isn't typical of the style. I would expect some clove, banana, or bubble gum flavor from a Hefeweizen. This beer has none of that. It's just bland and watery with very little carbonation and zero head retention. It fails both as a drinkable beer and as a representive of the style.

Tap pour at the brewery tap room. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Cloudy, unfiltered, pale gold colored body. Thin off white head. Leaves behind tendrils of lacing.
Faint aroma of yeast and malt.
Taste of tangy wheat malt, cloves, and banana. Yeast continues in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Slight tongue sting. Coats the mouth. Good carbonation.
Not real expressive but sticks to the style.
