Clear gold color with a decent head, though it fades quickly. Very nice fragrant floral hop aroma. Spot on pils flavor, with nice up front bitterness, nice hop flavor with clean malt. Light body, very quaffable. An exceptional pils. I could drink a lot of these.

16oz can (packaging date illegible) into an English pint. Pours a crystal clear pale golden color with a 1-finger head that settles to a thin film. Steady carbonation.
Aroma is a subtle blend of grainy/biscuity and fruity/floral notes, along with a touch of freshly cut grass.
Taste leads off with a delicate sweetness followed quickly by very light floral hoppy bitterness. The same slightly grainy/bready quality from the malt is there as well.
Mouthfeel is crisp and light, drinkable.
Overall a solid pilsner, pretty standard, well-executing offering for the style.

L- Nice white head with pale yellow clear beer. Head vanishes quickly with little to no lace.
S- Nose on this is almost non-existent when cold yet reveals a faint hint of malt and hop. Hop note is slightly floral and grassy.
T- Clean tasting lighter malt vibe with a restrained hop note, Definitely like some big German Pilsners but more laid back. Hops contribute a nice tang that evokes lemon or citrus on the sides of the tongue and grow a bit more as the beer warms up as does the malt. Some faint malt sweetness as it warms yet the hops keep it in check. Really nice balance.
F- This is clean, smooth and refreshing. Light carbonation but the balance makes it very refreshing. Lighter smooth body with some thickening at the back of the throat. Good balance overall.
O - Overall a very pleasant surprise. A nice change from maltier and hoppier variants. The light tang of the hops is a great counterpoint to the malt which is still on the lighter side compared to some pilsners make it eminently enjoyable.

Picked up a four pack of pints. Date on can: 07/14/23
Pours a crystal clear golden, straw in color with hints of copper and a finger thick, frothy white head on top that dissipates to a thin layer over time. Carbonation looks a tick below average with larger bubbles rising up in the glass. There's a decent amount of lacing on the glass as you drink. On point for the style.
Aroma is of floral, spicy hops, apple, a hint of grass and a doughy maltiness in the background. It is both sweet and a tad bit sour and earthy/musty. Quite aromatic and fresh. Again, on point for the style.
Sweet and slightly toasted grains up front but quickly veering into the spicy, light fruity hoppiness, very much like the aroma. Getting a lot of apple and spice, as well as some grass and some herbal tea notes. A touch soapy. Quite bitter on the swallow and into the aftertaste with lemon rind and a hint of buttery maltiness.
This drinks light and crisp with solid carbonation and a bit of zest on the swallow. Finishes fairly dry. Refreshing and drinkable.
I'm impressed. This is probably one of the most authentic German style pilsners I've had from an American brewery. It's drinkable, refreshing, flavorful and true to style. Would happily seek out again. I'll have another. Prost!

This is a nice interpretation of the German pils. Bready, dry, crisp, bitter, slight sweetness for balance. Perfect for hot days

L-Three finger headed traditional looking German pilsner. Straw colored with lively carbonation.
S-Grainy, spicy, wheat-y. Some apple. Just about what you'd expect with a German pilsner brewed with Perle hops.
T-Nice bitter bite. Some apple juice is there. Grainy and spicy. Nice bready backbone with some yeastiness. Again... what you'd expect with a German pilsner. Very solid, though.
F-Good carbonation, refreshing and crisp.
O-Just a really solid American take on the classic German pilsner. Feels authentic and is very enjoyable. Not much more to say. It doesn't need to be anything crazy and it isn't. It's just pretty damn good.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a nice transparent yellow with a bit of white head. The nose is really smooth and crisp. Pineapple, banana, orange, wheat, and a nice malty note. Some sweetness.
The taste is excellent. Sweet candy, caramel, orange, banana, apple, wheat, some grass, and a nice floral note. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry. Good carbonation. Overall, a really nice and easy-drinking pilsner.

Thanks to beergoot for this one as part of NBS BIF #16. Apparently brewed at the New Mexico location. 16oz can (dated 8/22/22) pored into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear, light gold color with a half inch of white head that had low-moderate retention and very minimal lacing.
The aroma was fairly typical; soft, earthy grains with hops that were floral with a bit of spice. Fairly similar on the tongue, with a mildly surprising hit of bitterness on the finish.
The body was light, smooth, crisp, and had a nicely dry finish. Drinkability was very good, that finish makes me think you could just keep drinking these all day long. Overall, a pretty nice brew. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.

Crystal clear, light yellow body; extremely sparse carbonation yet the head is dense, thick, creamy and white. Very pleasant light floral and fruity aroma; light pear; just a hint of light bready malt; biscuit. The taste greatly amplifies the smell; richer, toastier malt presence; fruitier hop flavor, again emphasizing pear; a touch of peppermint; moderate sense of overall hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp; light touch of residual sugar sweetness, finishes with a deft touch of dryness.
This beautiful pilsner from New Mexico hits all the right notes and touches all the right spots. A must try for pilsner lovers.

Poured from a can into pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden-straw color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head fades slowly over time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very heavy of a yeasty white bready smell mixed with a light graininess as well as a little bit of caramel malt. With these aromas is a touch of apple and a hint of earthy hop.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt flavor that is matched with some caramel malt and a little bit of the apple sweetness that was detected in the nose. As the taste advances there is a increase in the graininess as well as a touch of yeast that arrives in the flavor profile. A light grapefruit and earthy hop join in with some tangerine and peach, leaving one with a rather crisp, slightly sweeter, and lightly hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel -The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is medium to higher in nature. The feel matched the flavors well and makes a very easy drinker.
Overall – A rather nice, slightly sweet, but well balanced pilsner with a good, easy drinking nature.

Had on tap. Clear golden pour with a white head, classic. Cracker malt, pilsner yeast and floral hops in the nose. Taste has some bread dough, otherwise the same. Simpler pilsner, body is moderately crisp though, wanted more there given the complexion, but very clean and crushable.

tall boy canned 1/17/22
pours a crystal-clear pale yellow gold body with a rocky chalk-white frothy foam head that has moderate retention and leaves big slathers of thick big-bubbled sudsy lacing behind as it settles to a patchy cap with rocky halo
aroma is big and bready with a tinge of sour and dried grass
taste is dried crisp bright fruit and grass, a touch herbal but mostly leaning into a bready lightly soured maltiness with lowkey honey
feel is high carbonation and light bodied, running from crisp and grainy to pillowed before finishing dry and leaving that same flavor palate mentioned above in the aftertaste along with a touch more of herbal bitterness as it lingers
overall:
bought it for the name and can art, stayed for the insanely enjoyable yet daring display of love for a style and the balls to yank the reins elsewhere for a moment. grabbed the single this time, but best believe I'll be on the hunt for full packs from here on. don't sleep on this one
