Look: Deep amber-red and clear with a sudsy off-white head that slowly settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, toffee, fruity esters, dough, wafts of spicy hops, and caramel
Taste: A rush of bready malt hits first and develops depth as spicy hop notes trickle in behind to join. Dough and toffee shine in the middle before bready notes return for the close
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, pretty clean, and a soft-ish finish with a light spicy hop note cutting in
Overall: I dig it. I love a good English Bitter so was easily convinced to give this a try since it is one and by a brewery I respect (B15) along with one I’m not familiar with and in my home town to boot. A good mix of English malts and spicy hops are present and it is tasty and easy to drink
