Pours a cloudy amber with adequate foam in the Duvel nonic. Sharp and spritzy on the tongue. Quite substantial mouthfeel. Big nose of fruit with apricot distinct and long-lasting. Malty and wheaty tasting. This actually has a very good apricot flavor. It's appropriately tangy as well as fruity-sweet. Modest bitterness in the aftertaste.
This is quite a mouthful and a far cry from the simple flavored wheat beers so often encountered as the low end of the brewpub spectrum. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery tap.
