Pretty disappointing hefeweizen. Practically no head at all. Light banana notes but well short of what you would expect from a typical hefeweizen. Very bland.

Found at Woodman's Kenosha in a beer run to score north of the border.
Released a year ago and wiith only 28 ratings averaging only 3.33 on UnTappd, WAYNE does not get helped by my review ... particularly since Kenosha has only two reviews on BA after being open for 3 years.
But WAYNE in a word, average. Needs a better hefe- yeast.
However, I will give Kenosha a micro-review. They seem to be more a restaurant that brews their own beer. Food menus are extensive for a taproom and they offer many drafts from other brewers (good.) They are sort of a gathering spot for Kenosha's southwest side (which can only help.) I wish them well.
An aside to exercise my memory....
I wasn't sure if I had a Kenosha brew because on 8/3/19, I took the train to Kenosha and walked through the downtown to a near north park that was having a combined 5k (which I avoided) and a brew fest (which I indulged in.) The event's pitch appealed to an across-the-border competition in which over half the crafters were from Wisconsin and I found nine new ones, only one from Illinois. Tells you something about distribution... which is where many beer stories begin and end.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
