Who doesn't love spring?
If you do, this would be a near-perfect offering to go along with the warmer days, later sunsets, and aromas that come with the changing of the seasons. This had a ton going for it as it was readily enjoyable, true to stylistic form, and oh-so-easy to drink from start to finish. For those into this style or brews appropriate for the season, this was a hidden gem!
Golden, muted, and topped off with a ton of foam, the appearance to this was quite light and seasonal. Lots of spotty suds were left behind as they were quite extensive. Lemon, peppercorn, and floral notes were in the lively nose as the taste was just as lovely and fitting. Dandelion, melon, herbal notes, and a ton of tangy citrus rounded out the taste as this did not last very long after taking the first sip. The outdoorsy spice came through in the back, as this fully warmed up with the end being a bit dry and bready.
Hard to detect the alcohol in this as I only warmed up a bit upon finishing this off. Dated 3/11 on the bottom of the can with "APRIL (something or other)" written below that, this held up well as the label was just as suitable as the liquid. Props to Source once again for coming up with a quality brew that was so much fun to enjoy, without any pretentiousness.
Welcome back spring!
