Picked this up not too long ago at Fanwood Liquors as I love a good summer beer and figured that Source would hit this one on the head. Indeed, this was blonde, easygoing, and had just enough flavor to hold my attention throughout as there enough to like here and perfect for a warm such such as this!
Of course, this poured a uniformly translucent blonde with plenty of thick, frothy head topping it off. A decent amount of spotty lacing stayed behind as the only hint of a ring was about a third of the way down the side of my glass. Lots of yeast, peppery spice, and wheat in the nose as the taste had grapefruit, clementine, lemon, gooseberry, dank grape skin, and oats in it. Varied, nuanced, and deep, there was a lot going on here but everything was in proportion and the carbonation was lively enough to keep this fun and refreshing.
The amount of alcohol in this was spot-on and the body was plenty full without this feeling the least bit heavy. Dated 6/21 with "BRIGHT SUNNY DAY" written underneath it, the aftertaste was this was a cross between bright sunshine-y lemon and a kiss of the orange blossom honey. Leave it to a Farmhouse Brewery to brew a Saison as it was intended, as I'd easily reach for this fun offering again!

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy golden with white head. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Aroma and taste is of spices, bready malt, herbal hops, pickles and citrus. Finish is long and spicy. Ok brew.
