This was another beer that I picked up at Source early this year, as it sounded unlike any American Lager that I had before. Indeed, that was the case as this poured clean, clear, and crisp but still had plenty of flavor and bit to it. For a perfect spring day, this hit the spot as it didn't last in my glass for very long!
Not a shock that this looked like a Pilsner in the sense that it was golden, clear, and full of persistent streams of bubbles. Oddly enough, it reminded me of the way American beers were portrayed on television when I was growing up since the carbonation was so strong upon pouring! Lots of floral and white corn notes in the nose with a bit of cracker underneath that, as the taste had just as much nuance and bite to it. No doubt that this was what an American Lager *should* be and thankfully, I was able to have this to remind me of how one should properly come across as!
So much to like here, down to the nearly-session level of alcohol that was low enough for me to crack another open after having this. Too bad that I downed the rest of my allotment before reviewing this beer, as it was that enjoyable. Dated 1/10 on the bottom of the can with "CRISPY" written below that, this was an awesome beer that made me love Source even more. Glad to have gotten a hold of this as it held up well over the last 4 months, which wasn't surprising given how timeless this was!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
