Picked this up at Source during the winter, as I love a good Saison. These guys excel at brewing beers of different styles, and that was also true with this easygoing, but solid offering that easily checked off all of the proverbial boxes!
No surprise that this was golden, a bit translucent, and mildly radiant as it had arguably the thickest head that I’ve ever seen on a beer. Once it finally settled, the appearance was what I expected from this. Wheat, peppery spice, fall fruit, and peppercorn were in the nose as the taste also contained all of those. A bit of coriander and citrus tang rounded out the mouthfeel as the grains gave this plenty of body. Nice amount of hopping here with the end result making this feel like a true European beer!
Really hard to detect the alcohol in this as I could have easily cracked open another after savoring this. Couldn’t read what was on the bottom of the can but no matter - this held up well and was a complete pleasure to drink. Toss in another artful label and the result was another winner from one of New Jersey’s best breweries!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
