Brewed with some of our favorite hops from New Zealand, this beer is a pop of aroma. With a big, beautiful dry hop, and tons of oats, Waimea Haze is a creamy hazy IPA for the spring. Cheers!

Pours an orange creamsicle with a finger and a half of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of pineapple and citrus. Taste follows nose. Very refreshing.

Spent way too much at Windmill Farms and then at North Park Beer Company, but happy with my selections. I was a little late to get on the Harland train, but they’ve been putting some good stuff lately. Untappd called it, “Brewed with some of our favorite hops from New Zealand, this beer is a pop of aroma. With a big, beautiful dry hop, and tons of oats, Waimea Haze is a creamy hazy IPA for the spring. Cheers!” Not too familiar with Waimea, but characteristics looked like tangerine, grapefruit and pomelo (whatever that is). Rakau (stone fruit, apricot and candy) was also mentioned on the back of the can.
Poured a golden hazy color with one finger of off-white frothy-to-fizzy head. Looked a lot like orange juice. Could not really see any bubbles along the sides of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled tangerine, orange juice, apricot, stone fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, melon and cantaloupe. Pretty similar out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted just about as good as the nose. In order got tangerine, orange peel, apricot, stone fruit, New Zealand hops (Waimea and Rakau were mentioned), grapefruit, pineapple, melon and cantaloupe. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
I may have underrated this overall, but this was outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)

Sweet white wine grape and hint of orange citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a orange citrus bitter swallow...some tropical hoppiness shows up for a second on the backend. I'm impressed with the look and feel of this single...looks murky and feels pretty good on the palate. This is good!

Can’t say that I’m too into this one. It’s kind of like a super model with an eating disorder. Like, I am beginning to expect big things from the crew at Harland, but this one is pretty watered down and flat. Again, one thing I can say about the bro’s over there is that they so far have made really clean tasting beer. No boo boo skunk at all. But yeah, this one is just insipid and flat.
Peace!
