Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American Pale Ale
Glass: Clear 16-oz. Bruges beer glass
Price: $3.49
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: May 27, 2022
Consumed: June 24, 2022
Misc.: Canned on May 19, 2022
Grabbed a can of this and a bunch of other stuff on a trip to Windmill Farms. Untappd description just called it a “Pale Ale with Mosaic and Nelson.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see some slow moving bubbles coming up along the sides and bottom of the glass. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled earthy pine, hints of Nelson, tangerine peel, earthy pilsner malt, herbal, chalk and floral. About as good from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste wasn’t as good as the nose. This was earthy. Got bitter pine, hints of Nelson, chewy caramel, bitter tangerine peel, earthy pilsner malt, herbal, floral, chalk and peppery spice. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Chewy, earthy finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was good overall but nothing I’d need to have again. (Overall - 3.50)

Clear golden amber brew with abundant foam in the Chimay chalice. Delicate aroma of peach with alfalfa in the nose. Lovely sweet malty flavor to start, with green melon and apricot. Modest bitterness. All very elegant and highly drinkable. Here's another hoppy Pale Ale that gives you plenty of hop aroma and flavor without going nucking futz. From the 16 oz can purchased in Orange County. Dated 12/5/2022.
