Akazukin - Farmhouse w/ Yuzu // This collaboration with our friends at Gretel came together like something out of a story book. With a nose of sour, hard-candy, this soft-bodied saison skips down the lane and leaves notes bright pear, bubblegum, and meyer lemon pith behind. And as quickly as it skipped in the sunshine; your palate vanishes into the cool, deep woods with an earthy finish that doesn't really care if you make it Grandma's house.

After adding Akazukin seven weeks ago, I finally found this on tap at Pilot Project. I noticed on UnTappd that Akazukin is under Brewer's Kitchen. Because this is one collaborative project, either"owner" of the recipe is fine and I see no need to change it here.

Part of a flight of four, Akazukin's citrus cut through the grease of potato chips (which I rarely eat) and, Overall, is a good enough lunch ale and for that (and the collaboration) I give good OA Hugs. Other than that, Akazukin is barely above average. OK to pair with PPB's sandwiches, but no need to can it.
