On cask at Horse Brass Pub in Portland, Oregon
Comes to me in a nonic pint. Beer is a clear, deep golden with three fingers of white head which extends above the rim of the glass. Ensuing lacing is sticky. Beautiful beer.
Nose is subtle and of malt and English hops.
Mouthfeel is fantastic and is medium.
Malty in the beginning with some fruity esters right before a solid, but unassuming, hop bitterness in the end and after.
Overall an absolutely lovely beer.

Pours a clear amber color, appears a dark amber in the glass; coarse, lively carbonation; rich, thick, sudsy head. Nice malt nose with a slight dab of fruity esters circulating in the background; dried red fruit. Rich malt flavor with notes of toasted grain; well-rounded hop bitterness. Medium bodied; gently warm.
A very nice, quaffable old school styled ale. It really opens up after warming up.
ABV: 5%; pouring temperature: 56.0 °F; canning info: 12/09/24

Canned 9 Dec '24, so will take that to account. Pour is clean and clear; deep amber look of wildflower honey. Nose is bready with a hint of hops. Taste is dry and light on the tongue. Clearly malt forward with just a background of mild hops. Plenty of carbonation and mouthful. Just right for drinking on a mild British summer's afternoon whilst enjoying some light pub grub. A well-done rendition of the original ESB.

clear, amber golden in color, thick creamy white head of tiny bubbles. Nice toasted malt flavor, a little fruity. Great mouthfeel.
