Collaboration with Cloudburst Brewing
This hoppy oak-aged lager has notes of orange marmalade and a kiss of the wood it was aged on. A collaboration with the legendary brewer-poets Cloudburst Brewing, it has the toastiness of a classic lager elevated by the brightness of Mosaic and Ahtanum hops grown by our fam at Carpenter Hops.

Poured into glass from can. Pours a golden yellow with decent foam lacing. Aroma of new school tropical hops. Flavor is of mango and grapefruit hops with a bit of malt sweetness. Pillowy mouthfeel, not much oak character. Fantastic beer, would gladly drink a few of these.

Cloudy dark gold with a dense three finger topper that kicks back gradually to a thick skim and righteous lace on glass.
Full strength aroma for style, sweet orange, grapefruit pith, mosaic hop funk, light pine notes, oak, and mango form a killer aroma that is alluring and intense.
Taste is all the flavors of the aroma in a bright and balanced display of clean flavor madness that satisfies wonderfully. End of sip pine and hop funk combine in a semi-dry way.
Rating mouthfeel as an American Lager is tough, this is an IPL by any stretch, and more likely to be correctly identified as an IPA. As such, the mouth frames the flavors perfectly. It is fairly soft on palate, refreshing, medium carb., med. viscosity and body, with an excellent finish that really brings desire for next sip.
Another killer hop masterpiece from the master. Highly recommended. Go get some.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing coating the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of orange citrus and herbal hops are present in the nose along with hints of peppery spices.
T: The taste has flavors of mangos, orange citrus, stone fruit, and peppery spices along with a moderate amount of bitterness. There are also some notes of toasted oak that appear in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat both crisp and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a well-hopped lager that in some instances tastes like it could be an IPA. It has a lot of complex flavors - primarily from the hops - but also from the oak.
Serving type: can
