Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, slight chill haze, head is brighter white with fine to small bubbles, head presents one finger thick.
Smell is light but slightly sweet and fruity - very light mixed malt and grassy herbal hops.
Taste is sweetish and lightly fruity malt, no pilsner like quality but not toasty or caramely like pale malt so maybe some sixrow and adjunct blend at play; hops are neutral to light grass.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.
Overall a sweetish neutral lager.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden with a receding foamy head. Grainy aroma, bread, pale malts. Taste continues with simple grainy, malty flavors. Nice full feel

A - Medium to dark gold color with nice clarity, and moderate dense, white bubbly lacing.
S - Biscuity malt with light cereal grain and citrus.
T - Somewhat earthy, lemon citrus, light graininess up front, and ends with a citrusy lemon earthy spice that's muted with some biscuity malt. Has a lingering earthy citrus lemon on the backside with a little bit of resin.
M - Huge medium body with a dry finish.
O - Lacks the crispy character of a Pilsner and bulky on the mouthfeel.

Pours a clear golden color with visible carbonation. A fingernail high billowy head soon dissipates.
The nose provides a balance of malt and yeasty and hops notes. Aromas of biscuit, bread crust, lemon, grass and chives.
The taste opens with crisp dry cracker malts, bready, biscuity, a hint of honey and lightly caramelized. Well spiced with peppery yeast and easy going hops bitterness. Herbal, floral and citrusy hops flavors evoke notes of lemon, orange, verbena and chives.
Medium to light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. The finish is crisp and dry with bright citrus and smooth malts on the backend. The carbonation is moderate to lively.
An easy drinking, nicely balanced and appropriately crisp lager. I would have again.

Thompson Island Brewing Co. "No Bad Days"
16 fl. oz. can "PACKAGED ON 08/18/21" and sampled on 08/29/21
Notes via stream of consciousness: Right off the bat I've got a good sight - clear beer! No one seems to filter anymore. Oh, damn, the head has already collapsed though which is really bad as I've just poured it. Damn! The body is a deep gold and the head WAS white for the several seconds that it lasted. The aroma is limited but very clean, displaying only some sweetish malt. It doesn't seem like Pilsner malt, and it's not pale ale malt, so it must be just brewer's base malt. The flavor follows, adding in a bit of apple-like fruitiness and a moderate to median bitterness that balances it perfectly. There were no hops in the aroma and there aren't a lot in the flavor but there is a bit of a floral and herbal component to it. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and gently crisp. To be honest I think it could use a little more carbonation but what do I know? I think that about covers it. There was obviously no lacing as the head was non-existent from about 15 seconds in. Overall this is a pleasant beer that's probably quite enjoyable on a hot day at the beach but it's not perfect and the lack of head retention really hurts its score.
