Don't remember this beer but gave it a good rating so must have been pretty decent. I should have remembered by the name as that is kind of strange. Probably had at some festival.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can, but I acquired it at the brewery.
Appearance: light yellow hue with lots of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. Looks good to me!
Smell: lightly malty aroma with citrusy orange and lemon notes, as well as some grassy hop character. It's not bad at all; very springtimey.
Taste: a bit maltier than the aroma, with some slightly biscuity/toasty character. Hops are like the aroma: kinda lemony and grassy. It's not bad, but it doesn't entirely tickle my fancy.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a decent beer, but not my favorite hazy IPA in the world.

More hops from woemad as part of a BIF, and yet another one from I brewery I've never heard of previously. I've been mostly digging the stuff he's sent me so far, so I'm guessing this one will be pretty good as well. Let's crack it open and find out what it's all about
Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
Oh man, I can really get down with how bright this one is in the nose, feeling like a typical NEIPA but with more of a bite to it. I'm picking up on aromas of papaya, lemon zest, tangerine juice, bready malt, grassy hops, overripe cantaloupe, white pepper, white grape, and light pine
It's a bit more subdued and rounded in taste, but it still makes for a tasty beer. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting overripe cantaloupe, orange juice, bready malt, mango, grassy hops, light white grape, and a touch of grapefruit. The swallow brings notes of orange zest, papaya, crackery malt, lemon zest, floral hops, overripe cantaloupe, light grapefruit, and grass
A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes mostly dry with a refreshing mild bitterness
This one is good all around. An interesting take on the style to keep things thin and light which I appreciate

Received from woemad in an LIF associated with BIF #16.
Poured brown- a light brown but brown nonetheless. For a beer named “Fluffy Puffy Sunshine” one expected a bright yellow. The nearly white head appears and left decent lacing.
The aroma was faint for my damaged nose so nothing to report there.
The taste was good, more melon than standard east coast citrus, but still good. Very little bitterness but hops are not absent from the flavor as they presented themselves at the swallow with piney tastiness.
The feel was excellent, not chewy like some NEIPAs but not water thin either.
Good beer, thanks Fred!

*I can't smell, so my impression may be irrelevant to others* I really like the taste of this beer, one of my favorites in recent memory. Fruity, not hoppy, light but robust, lingers nicely, not boozy. The head was two fingers and rocky, did not last long. Will buy again.

Can Date: obscured
Palate Contaminants: white wine and cheese
Light straw color, as well as an abundance of fine white head. Opaque.
Smell has mellow white grapefruit, light pine sap, and powdered sugar. Light malt definitely makes it as a scent, too. While I do usually like sharpness, the light touch here is pleasant since it does have some strength.
Taste follows the nose, although it is a little more earthy and the grapefruit is a little bit sweeter. Slightly nutty. Definitely lemongrass in there. Sweetness is distinct and moderate for the type. Bitterness is light-moderate.
Nicely integrated medium-fine carbonation, although the overall weight is thin for the type. Aftertaste has a bit of nuttiness and moss, and with the underlying sweetness it's really pleasant.

Fluffy Puffy Sunshine from YaYa Brewing. Received from woemad in NBS BIF #15. Stored at 40 degrees after receiving. Reviewed 23/05/22. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Stamped on bottom of can “03/31/2022”. Served at 47.6 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. Final temperature 51.0 degrees.
Appearance – 4 – after rolling the can several times.
First pour – Straw (SRM 3), hazy and opaque.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), hazy and opaque. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Large (Maximum five cm, aggressive center pour), white, high density, short retention, rapidly diminishing to an extremely jagged and irregular 0.8 to 1.7 cm crown and a complete meringue-like cap. Ample lacing remains as the head retracts.
Lacing – Excellent! Rows of tiny to small bubbles, the top band narrow with massive stalactites, the next layer with thick, irregular stalagmites. See also above.
Aroma – 4.5 – Pine and lemon. No malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 4.5 – Starts lightly bitter, following the aroma with pine and weaker lemon with a bit of malt. No yeast. No ethanol (6.5 % ABV as marked on label) taste or aroma. Mild gastric warming occurs. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Ends with a lightly bitter aftertaste.
Palate – 4 – Medium, creamy, lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 A particularly good NEIPA, with a west coast twist – it went down fast. This one I could drink all day! Thanks Fred!

really good outside beer on a nice spring afternoon, glad to see these guys doing well. this one looks well named from the tap, certainly sunny yellow, cloudy but not too thick looking under an inch of white head, in a hefeweizen glass it sort of looks like one. the nose is great, fleshy coconut, honeydew melon, and a hint of ripe fuzzy apricot, all of which carry over to the flavor, but especially the apricot, no fruit in this i dont think, id love to know what hop varietal to credit for this element, its awesome and real distinctive, kind of makes this beer for me. the grain bill is nice too though, definitely oaty, creamy feeling beer frothy and almost rich but dry, pillowy, its lovely and it holds the hop flavors super well from start to finish. high carbonation keeps it summery too, and this ends up being a hazy ipa for a patio, which is a rarity for me, usually too heavy and dense for that but not this one. super well refined then, among the best beers i have had from these guys, and one it seems like everyone is starting to get hip to. great hop complexion here, super flavorful but easy to drink, loved it!
edit: less good from the can, maybe a freshness issue with my specimen, but slightly hop faded, less fruity, and with more breadiness from the grain, lost some of its sunshine i reckon, also kind of yeast and with a little more grassy bitterness than i recall from previously. leaving scores alone, this was hopefully just an older can, still lively though, and distinctive on the hop side, just not quite as pristine and wowing as it was the first time around when i had it on tap...

Bought from Tavour in late 2020 and saved this NEIPA for post-physical activity. Good move. Refreshing.
Fluffy Puffy Sunshine Looks as advertised: sun reflects nicely off its murky blonde with lace that runs the length of this tulip.
Smells are even better with a fruit cocktail of melons and lemons that could get sweet easily; but doesn't because Tastes are balanced by the adroit use of hops and only at the very end does the bitter peek out, but does not last and is gentle on the buds of this malt-head. In my mouth, this is nicely soft with medium bubbles. A gentle brew and very good example of a style that I prefer only when I need to be quenched.
As for my obligatory micro-review... Yaya is only 18 months old, but I'm still impressed. A gentle NEIPA, a pretty website, a micro committed to community and dedicated to a loved one. There are lots of nice stories among American micros, this is one of the nicer ones. And for that, I give them some pretty good OA Hugs for an 18 month old.

I received this from @woemad in a BIF. Canned on 4/9/2020. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a murky, dirty orange with a creamy, bright white cap and film of soapy lacing. It smells of lemon, honeydew melon, and some lite floral hops. The opening flavor is soft, sweet melon with slightly tart lemon and creamy oat malt. The Citra and El Dorado hops combine to provide bright tropical notes with little bitterness. The flavors are delicate and compliment themselves very well. The mouth feel is creamy and plush with moderate carbonation, and it's readily drinkable at 6.5% Overall, this is a very nice New England IPA with lots of flavor and a very pleasing mouth feel. Like every beer I've received from @woemad, it's a pleasure to drink!

Can from a 4-pk of 16oz tallboy cans purchased at the brewery while exercising good social distancing tactics for $16.99, I believe. According to the sticker on the plastic can holder, this was canned on April 9, 2020.
Poured into a shaker pint glass, this was a turbid, apricot shade of amber. A thin, white head formed, then dropped rather quickly. Spotty lace.
Juicy, fruity melon-y hop aroma.
Very fruit forward. Not too much bitterness compared to an old school IPA, and what there is comes at the finish, a pithy sort of bitterness like in a glass of unsweetened fruit juice.
Medium bodied, carbonation is a little low but not to a disturbing degree. Soft mouthfeel as standard for the NE hazy style.
Maybe this turns quickly, or maybe YaYa doesn't quite have it's packaging game quite down yet. Still pretty good, but was expecting better, as it's Dyn-O-Myte on tap.
