Marginally better looking than a typical lager of this style, which is still not terribly pretty, but hey, let's rate to style and all that jazz. Basically it's a standard golden color but with slightly better head retention that I expected. Good. Weirdly whisky-like aroma with some misplaced medicinal phenols, dandelions, and a drop of honey, topped up with club soda. Not impressed. The flavor is needlessly alcoholic with a sort of bad vodka-like pinch to it - it tastes stronger than it is, bordering on dreaded super lager territory. Which is odd, because this is only fractionally more alcoholic than normal Foster's. At any rate it mostly tastes of grain spirit, tonic water, and white bread. Not impressed.
Fizzy? Yes. Dry? Not quite. Overall mouthfeel? Average. With Polish dill potato chips? Good.
