A nice, quenching blonde. Released two months ago with 9 ratings @ UnTappd.
Bought @ Beermiscuous, my main source of Chicagoland nanos/micros. My 7th from Humilde and their 3rd that I added to BA.
I like Humilde. Unfortunately, it exists during all of Covid, which limits the taproom business plan and explains why I am the only reviewer since it never got into distribution.
Nonetheless, Humilde has brewing talent and it shows in El Oro... I notice a pattern in their moderate use of hops.
Oro Looks appetizing (a clear blonde) and its Smells also are above average. This ale's fruitiness is full and its use of hops modest enough to work with food. I will have El Oro in the summer after playing tennis or riding my bike... but not at the table again.
6/7/22 Bought another copy from Beeermiscuous and, five months later, edited my review to reflect that I think this is a fine food-friendly table ale; given that it paired fine with my world-famous ratatouille. I like Humilde and I hope to have El Oro again... and still I intend to visit District Brew Yards !
