I have to go look see if I can find anything on the internet by the brewer about this brew. Nope. It is odd looking so it would be cool to know what went in this brew.
It pours very cloudy and light yellow. Nice lacing. The smell is very funky. The taste is less dry than a New England IPA but similar (like the appearance). It all goes down pretty easy and finishes cleanly, with a tasty hops burp.
Not recommended. Too pricey and they could have used more malts (it is weak) and then maybe a tad more of the same hops.

Canned 11/19/20, tasted 12/20/20. My first brew from Marlowe - impressed overall! Usually I find pale ales kind of low-wattage in terms of smell and flavor, but this beer had lots to offer - better than many of the pale ales brewed by Tree House, e.g. Hazy yellow appearance, with lots of tangy citrus fruit character in the smell and flavor. The highlight for me was the mouthfeel, which was creamier than most pale ales, seemingly due to a lot of residual carbonation. A very nice pale ale!

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a bright yellow color and an almost milkshake-like consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of hops, a little tropical fruit, citrus fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a bit of tropical fruit (passion fruit, it would seem), a whole lot of hops (more than expected, but not overdone), a tinge of malt (mostly in the finish, but not a big factor), and a decent amount of citrus fruit (orange, in particular). This is a sharp, clean, and focused flavor. It's hoppier than most APAs, but it still maintains a good balance.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a sharp, slightly dry finish. Light- to medium-bodied.
O: A solidly done, light, likable beer. Worth a try.
