This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like dark chocolate, tobacco, cookie dough, vanilla, and oak.
This is really tasty stuff, with lots of barrel providing most of the beer's complexities and interesting points. There's lots of dark chocolate here, with tobacco, lots of oak spice, maybe some licorice, and a touch of barrel vanilla. There's also a touch of caramel and some cookie dough reminiscent flavors.
This is medium bodied and silky, not super thick, but not thin really at all.
This was clearly brewed with an intention to feature the barrel, and it does that well.
