Copenhagen 2/8 2023. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Steel can with green label with an elegant drawing of a fruit tree in close up.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of stone fruits mingling with citrus fruit. Light fumes of turpentine. Peach and mango. Ripe. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Delicious and appropriately bitter.
