The Grace of Maybe is a 6.0% ABV mixed fermentation saison brewed with lemongrass, re-fermented on white and yellow peaches, and finished with Madagascar vanilla beans. The aroma offers delicate notes of floral stone fruit, lightly toasted meringue, and jasmine tea. The peaches present with a juicy ripeness on the palate, followed by flavors of coconut flesh and white pepper. The lemongrass plays a minor supporting role, highlighting the complexity in the soft acidity of the beer. Further revealing itself as a faint smoky bloom in the finish, the vanilla builds slowly as the beer warms. What is most remarkable to me is the texture of this beer—it is light, fluffy, airy. Like a cloud, offering cirrus wisps of levity...
A note from KT Artist Jessica Deahl @jdeahl — "Following an (always beautiful) description of this beer’s journey and vision from Averie, I was left to ponder themes of levity, complexity, potential... they all seemed to culminate into gestural expressions of watercolor, experimental layering of texture, shape, and color. Warm corals to cool greens wink at the ingredients, and playful use of a sophisticated font give it just enough gravitas without being overly austere."

750 mL bottle. Clear golden. Smells of strong lemongrass, vanilla, and light yeast funk. Tastes of lemongrass and vanilla with earthy yeast and slight bitterness. Back end is peaches, which is the only time it shows up. Well carbonated. It's nice.

Received from@fbarber in the NBS BIF. No evident bottling date but it was added to the BA database by Frank in February 2021. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a bright, golden, grassy yellow-orange with a thin, milk-white cap and modest lacing. A lovely, fragrant nose of funky lemon, peach, and Belgian spicing. As it warms a bit I detect a whiff of vanilla which gives it a subtle creamsicle aroma. The vanilla is more prevalent in the flavor. It's sweet and creamy and nicely balances the sourness of the lemongrass. The peach is there but it's in the background. The flavors are delicate and highly complimentary. Its mouth feel is rich and surprisingly creamy for the style. The carbonation is appropriate albeit not quite lively. It's easily drinkable at 6% ABV. Overall, The Grace of Maybe is a lovely Saison. It's well-conceived and expertly executed. It paired nicely with Vermont cheddar cheese on a bright, warm afternoon.

Pour is somewhere between clear and lightly hazy. About a finger of fizzy white head that receded quickly to a thin ring. Aroma is wonderful. There's a lovely light funk with lemon, peaches and a hint of vanilla. The peaches are a little more forward on the tongue, but not overwhelming. As with pretty much every Keeping Together beer I've tried, there's a wonderful balance of flavors that work very well together. The peach & lemon work well together in conjunction with the tartness, funk and light spice. It's fairly complex, light, dry and clean. Overall, just an excellent beer.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like creamy juicy peach, a bit of vanilla, herbal funk, citrus, and lemon.
This has such a wonderful soft creaminess to it, and the flavor additions are pretty much perfectly added. There's just a little bit of vanilla, which helps accentuate that creamy softness. The lemongrass seems to also accentuate that pleasant herbal and grassy funk. The peach is sweet, and slightly tart, and just delicious.
This is light bodied, creamy, soft, and super drinkable.
This beer was extremely enjoyable to drink.

Had on tap. Cloudy pale golden body with a tight white head and thick lazy lacing. Lush peach with funk, straw, yeast, floral hints, lemon and orange peel meet the vanilla in the nose. Taste has all of what the nose foretold, but peach is bigger but funk and rustic nature is deeper, hay, hints of coconut, and dry earth are added. Feel is very complex: tones of earth, grain, wild yeast, vanilla, fruit, pith, grass, and general rustic tones shape the light and delicate body. Fantastic!

Lightly foggy pale straw yellow with a short bubbly white head settling to a bubbly ring.
Pixy Stix! While light and delicate, it's got that distinct flavor to it. The Grace of Maybe also maintains a perfect balance between acidity and drinkability, a signature I've come to associate with Keeping Together. While the stonefruit is subtle, peach and vanilla really work well with the yeast to produce their own flavor.
This clean and crisp brew finishes just bone dry.

750ml bottle, undated, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a cloudy straw color, copper hues with a finger of white head, modest retention and a few spots of lacing. The aroma is wonderful, soft peach fuzz, earthy peach pit, wildflower, grassiness, pale grain, mineral water, and a nice yeastiness. The flavors are nicely balanced and layered. Soft cereal grains, a bit of spice and yeast, fruity peach, fuzzy skin, light juiciness that brings out some more generic berry fruits while there is a nice grassy and floral quality to this as well. The mouthfeel is good, lively and vibrant with a delicate medium body that finishes easily and crisply.
Verdict: A really nice saison from Keeping Together. The peach is expressed so well and while the vanilla isn't a very prominent flavor, I suspect that it plays a really subtle role in amplifying the peach while balancing the rest of the beer.

Pours a hazy, cloudy, and completely opaque bright yellow-orange color. Two finger white sudsy head forms on the beer and then dissipates pretty quickly. A ring of foam is retained along the outside edges of the top of the beer. Aroma has notes of lemon, grain, a mildly spicy yeast note, bright peaches, and just a hint of vanilla. Im kind of surprised but the lemon, citric notes and peaches really dominate the aroma and I am totally fine with that. I had been concerned the vanilla would dominate.
The taste is very light and bright with notes of lemon, fresh peaches, grains, that give way to some spicy yeast notes along with a light pleasant tartness. From there is progresses towards the finish with a grassy/hay note on the back end. There is a slight sweetness to this one, but its not really sweet. The vanilla is such a subtle, merely complimentary note in this beer that if I wasn't looking for it, I think I would have missed it. There is a slight tart, funkiness that does start to shine a bit more as the beer warms up. A slight barnyard funk comes from that hay note that I initially noticed early on. The overall result is an absolutely delicious peach saison with this balanced and pleasing tart-funkiness. Feel is light, lively, and bright. Carbonation is vibrant and lively. Beer is pretty dry throughout and through the finish.
I honestly was nervous about this one with the addition of vanilla, but I should not have doubted Averie - its deftly added to this beer while allowing the peaches and the saison to have the spotlight to themselves. Its another incredible beer from Keeping Together.
