“Automatic Win” is our next iteration of an Oat Lager. We made some tweaks from our last one (Sense of Touch) and we think this one is, like, pretty cool or whatever.
Mashed with Riverbend Malt 6-Row Pilsner and a melange of their Husked and Huskless Oat Malts, hit hard in the boil with Tettnanger, and then a lil’ bit o’ Perle in the Whirlpool. As always, fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and cold-conditioned for many moons in a Horizontal Lager Tank.
We experience an open field picnic filled with fresh Croissants, a kiss of Lemon Verbena, a smidge of Oatmeal accompanied by Black Tea in the afternoon, and some grassiness. Encapsulated in a pillowy, full, yet dry body, with a perfectly thirst-quenching bitterness, and that Chippy Boi™ minerality we all know and love.
