Pours a clear, straw color. No head, no retention, and not lacing. Smells of tartness, citrus (lemon), hint of hop, and a hint of pale malt. Fits the style of a Gose. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a low carbonation level. There is also a strong tartness and noticeable dryness. Tastes of tartness, slight coriander, hint of hop, and slight citrus. Overall, weaker then normal appearance, simple aroma, good body, and good blend.

This was my first foray into the Gose style of beers. At first I was a bit taken aback and unsure, but I found myself coming back for another sip. By about midway I was actually pretty into the style. This one is salty and sour. The salt hits first and makes your mouth tighten up a bit, then it is followed by the sour and slightly sweet tang of the persimmons. This was quite enjoyable and had a dry finish from the salt.

One of the best examples of the style I've had.
