Opaque reddish brown with a khaki collar. Sour dark cherry, oak, lacto, black currant and a touch of nail polish remover. Tastes as it smells for two thirds of the sip, but then it slightly thins but in a rewarding way that reveals red grape, cherry skins, sweeter red wine, blackberry and candied cherry. Smells way more sour than it feels, more sweet than tart, certainly vinous and oaky, thinner, low carbonation. Acidity grows as you go down the sip

Pours a very dark plum with a finger of khaki foam that retains fairly well. Aroma is plum, yeast, cherries, and Cabernet. It has a lactic sour burn that adds to the complexity. Flavor profile is plum, tart cherries, Cabernet, grapes, and a little char. It has a delightful complexity that is multiplied by a lactic sourness. Mouth feel is a touch fizzy at first, but smooths out to a wine-like consistency. Overall, high complexity within a sour package. It drinks like a sour wine.
Served in a 12oz snifter from a 750mL bottle.

Dark brown in color with a fingernail of brown around the rim. The aroma is of Cabernet, lactobacillius, and tart cherries. I'm tasting tart cherries, black currants, and Merlot. The mouth offers moderate carbonation and is high in acidicy.

From a tall, thick bottle, this markey-reddish brew lacks much of a head but is intriguing. The aroma is a mix of barnyard funk and intense fruit. I get load of cherry and berry. Deep, sweet and sour cherry. The beer is warming, tart, and candy-like. Intense. Full in body, and almost mouth-coating. Wow. Nicely made.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark brown color with reddish tints and a thick consistency. There was a small amount of off white, foamy head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A very enticing aroma of dark fruit, a vinous quality, and cherries.
T: Tasted of a very strong red wine quality, some oak notes, a lot of dark fruit (currants, plums), a ton of cherries, some light yeast notes, and a definite tartness. An interesting, complex, powerful flavor. The red wine quality is pretty strong, but the cherries and other dark fruit balance it out very well.
F: An average amount of carbonation and a lively, tart finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an incredibly likable beer. It's not a classic saison, but it still works. Very tasty.

On tap. Poured a dark, dark brown color with ruby highlights and a small head of foam. It smelled of sour dark cherries and oak. Very tart and sour cherry flavor. Almost has wine-like taste.
