Tin Hoagie is an American light lager brewed with US grown pils malt and non GMO corn. This 4% beer is brewed with a single decoction, natural carbonation, and the same wonderful hallertau mittlefruh aroma hops that we use in our german style lagers. A tailgate go-to with soul!

Canned on 9/27/21; consumed on 11/13/21
Pours a crystal-clear and calmly effervescent lemon-gold body, capped with over three fingers of fluffy, sudsy, white foam; spectacular head retention fades steadily to some chunky island of cap, a large, frothy collar, and layers of thin, webby, soapy lacing caked along the walls of the glass.
Aroma brings soft grain accentedw with mild grassiness to the forefront, further bolstered by touches of straw deriving from a clean, somewhat peppery lager yeast over the middle as a minerality advances over the back end.
Taste opens to a combination of straw and fresh grass prior to a yeasty bread dough mid-palate developing brown bread crust accents on the back end; touches of toasted malt continue to be interspersed on the finish, while a hint of lime lingers.
Mouthfeel shows a light body and a dominant carbonation, fluffy and extensively sudsy before a choppy dispersion over the mid-palate; staying clean through the back end, a touch of spritzy grit acts as a precursor to a quenching crispness through the finish.
Conscientiously without frills and sporting an uncomplicated cleanliness, Human Robot offers a refined take on a simpler style, adding occasional nuances while not wavering from the quenchability at the core of this refresher.

Pale straw with a finger of dense white head. Great retention and good lacing.
Corny aroma, fairly sweet, with a touch of grassy Noble hops behind.
Modest grassy bitterness in the taste from start to finish. A little doughy sweetness and touch of mineral water as well.
Medium bodied for the style with zippy carbonation. Maybe a bit too zippy.
Middle of the road for a pilsner. Much better than average for an American Light Lager.
