Named for a Polish port on the Baltic Sea. This big baltic porter was brewed with a Vienna, Munich, and roasted malts. Hopped with Styrian Goldings and fermented with our house lager yeast, then conditioned for 4 weeks. Roast aromas blend with dried fig and plum with a pleasant warming alcohol sensation.

Midnight black with a massive, creamy-looking, dark khaki head. Strong retention and thick webbed lacing.
Restrained aroma with chocolate at the forefront. Maybe a touch of smoke.
Strong chocolate, strong char, some vanilla and a hint of cherry in the taste. Lingering char bitterness.
Somewhat creamy feel and zippy carbonation.
Nice depth of flavor. A very solid brew.

Pours an effervescent chestnut with 2+ fingers of mocha colored head. Good head retention & lacing
S: Hints of coffee & roastyness
T: Chicory, woody hops, dryness, a little nuttyness? plenty of dryness & pine up front. Dryness, woody hops, roastyness & a hint vanilla & hazelnut once this beer is warmed up, some hints of dark fruits. Finishes with molasses. roastyness, nutty notes, & a touch of vanilla & a little bit woody hops, pine & dryness
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
Drink fairly easy despite the heft, still a sipper none the less

Pours a very dark brown, but not quite black. Thick cream colored head. Aroma is a little boozy, along with molasses and bread crust. Taste is a bit sweet, a little hot as well.
Medium bodied.
