SECHS 3.9% - Aged Hop Lager - Reifen hopf lager, brewed with Pilsner, munich, and Rye malts and a blend of fresh Spalt and aged Styrian Celia hops. Loamy, earthy hop aromas, light sulfur, and tight, natural carbonation combine with a subtle, deep malt flavor to tie this beer together. Krausen conditioned in cans and kegs.

On draft at Jenkintown, via Lukr faucet, in half liter mug
Clear medium golden in color, thick bright white head. Leaves rings of lacing on the glass. Earthy, pepper aroma with some crackery grainy malt. Dry finish, a touch bitter. Medium bodied - smooth feel from the side pull faucet.

Lightly hazed pale bronze with a great, dense, uneven, scuzzy head that leaves thick lacing. Slightly skunky, earthy aroma. Rye spice, bread, maybe a hint of squash, cardboard and plenty of dry earthy bitterness in the taste. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. It’s definitely got a British-esque vibe in terms of the heavy earthiness. I like it better than previous anniversary iterations.
