A Rustic Saison. Brewed on Lammas Day, the halfway mark between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox, this Saison celebrates the coming harvest. Brewed with raw local honey and an unique yeast, it has notes of just ripe raspberries, hard candies and wildflowers.
Malt: Pilsner Malt, Wheat Malt.
Hops: Saaz and Cashmere. Other: Raw honey from Sandbrook Hidden Acres Farm.
Yeast: ECY46 - Farmhouse 2.

32 oz crowler from the brewery.
Pale amber color and hazy with a small white head that has good retention. Grainy malt aroma mixed with floral hops. Flavor kind of falls apart a bit and is a little empty. Nothing off about the beer, just lacking character. Finishes very dry. Medium bodied.
After a run of amazing beers from this brewery, this one fell short. I'm a big fan of saisons, so maybe I'm being a little too critical, but there is room for improvement here.
