A delightful, lightly funky table beer.
Light funk on the nose matched by a floral, estery sip. Clean finish. Low ABV makes this even better, given the amount of flavor it packs.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a 4-pack for $14.99 plus tax. Canned on 07/5/22, making this one day shy of 7 weeks old.
Look: Pours a light straw color with a very soft haze. There seems to be nice head retention and lively carbonation. The beer became hazy after I poured the sediment. Looks good with or without the haze.
Smell: Soft acidity with nice Farmhouse/Belgian yeast character of cloves, spice along with interesting and restrained funk. Lemony, peppery, and grassy notes. I get green bell pepper notes after swirling the glass.
Taste: This is very drinkable and very refreshing. It is a very light beer at 3.8% ABV, yet it is not lacking in flavor. I like the acidity in this beer. It's not sour, but to me that acidity really makes this a "table beer" that will allow it to do so well with food. The finish is a bit spicy, very dry, with soft, woody tannins.
Feel: Spritzy carbonation and light to medium body, it's crisp, dry, and refreshing.
Overall: My first Wild East beer. I am very excited to try other beers from this brewery! This is one of the lowest ABV beers that I have reviewed, and it is the highest rated beer that I have reviewed below 4% ABV.
From the website/can:
A light & approachable foeder-aged, mixed-fermentation ale made to pair with any food & conversation at your table. An everyday easy-drinker for everything in between. Spritzy with delicate notes of lemon lime, hay, soft oak and hints of pome fruits and honeysuckle. Enjoy a small beer with big flavor and leave nothing on the table.

On tap at the source.
Clean, crisp, snappy, tart, peppery, light yet wonderfully conditioned and textured, with a delicate backbone. The malt bill and process here really help ensure the balance between acid, grain and residual protein that keeps this from being watery. Brilliant.
