This DIPA is pretty terrific. Definitely on the sweet side but there’s enough complexity and just enough hints of bitterness and resin to give it some shape. The feel is wonderfully full and just carbonated enough to feel lively and not excessively smooth. The thing that strikes me most is the aroma of peach which then follows clearly in the flavor, lots of peach and stone fruit in general and candied peach rings. I’m finding a lot of the big sweet smooth DIPA offerings these days to be boring and smooth and sweet and simply tiresome and had my guard up coming into this one but this is a really, really good beer.

16 ounce can...w/o any freshness or canning date info that I can find. Purchased by a friend at the source 3 days ago.

Quality look to this pour, hazed up and supporting a long lasting 1/4 inch cap, and loads of fine ringed and sheets of lacing.

Ripe stone fruit sniff.

Super smooth and inviting as if crosses through the mouth.

Delicious double NEIPA, densely flavorful with more soft, smooth and ripe stone fruit notes all over this one. Has a bit of sweet finish with some vanilla and ripe bananas coming through....complex, flavorful and well worth seeking out.
