DIPA brewed with Golden Promise, Flaked Oats and Wheat, and a touch of crystal malt. Hopped in the kettle with Mosaic, Azacca, and Wakatu, then dry hopped with a healthy dose of Mosaic and Wakatu.
As the Dog Days of Summer start to leave us behind we found ourselves wanting something creamy and juicy to complement the cooling temperatures. Mashed high for a soft, rounded mouthfeel, and hopped in a way that left us with a smooth, juicy, high-abv refresher.
We're tasting mango and papaya smoothies, rainbow sherbert, tropical fruit gummy bears, and cartons of a certain berry punch you vaguely remember from childhood.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a murky light gold with a thin off-white head. Decent lacing. Initial impression is citrus, mango, and a slight grassiness. Mouthfeel is soft, smooth and clean. Finish fades to citrus and a bit of piney bitterness. Very enjoyable!

16oz can served in a tulip. Received from @MacMalt in BIF #14. I don't see a date on it. But I'm reviewing it 23 days after MacMalt did, and he said it was 9 days old, so I suspect it's 32 days old right now.
Pours a creamy pale orange-yellow with a big, dense head. Settles into about a centimeter thick very dense head and thick lacing. Smell is super tropical, lots of lemon zest, moderate pith.
Taste is super juicy. Light orange juice with a little mango. A couple sips give orange zest bitterness with a little bit of orange pith. This is super easy to drink.
Mouthfeel is smooth and clean. Overall, this is a very tasty beer.

First review. Cans were released on 9/24 so 9 days old when reviewed. Poured into a Drowned Lands Willi Becher glass. It pours an opaque, dirty tangerine color with a luxurious, creamy, egg-white had and thick, elegant lacing. The nose is a bit subdued but I can smell pineapple, tangerine, and melon. The Crystal malt adds an earthy sweetness. The taste opens with lime from the Wakatu hops, ripe melon and berry from the Mosaic, and mango from the Azacca. The Crystal malt adds sweetness and depth. There is little bitterness and just a touch of dryness at the finish. This ale is creamy and moderately viscous with just the right level of carbonation. The 8.2% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, Autumn Terra is delightful to drink. It's flavorful and substantial yet easy to drink. The Drowned Lands is brewing some excellent DIPAs.
