The crack of the opening of a pint can provides a nice hop bouquet. That's a plus. The attempt to pour its contents into a clear glass Imperial pint mug became problematic because of too much starchy white foam. That's a big minus. Now, as typical, the foam is receding unevenly, irregularly and without much glass lacing. Obviously, this is lacking barley malt. The color of the brew is a murky straw-amber, so it looks like there's been some oats in the wort. The aroma is only of muddled hops. This drinks smoothly enough, but the flavor is off. There's too much shallow sweetness and the hopping is moderately bitter, but characterless. Once again, the obvious lack of sufficient barley malt is to the detriment of a brew, especially one that categorizes itself as an IPA. The body may not be thin, but the flavors certainly are. Alcohol is as predominant a taste as the hops, or the medium. Good name and label, too bad the beer didn't measure up.
