Says it's a "farm hand foeder saison"
Hazy, golden, translucent, fizzy white head. Good retention and lacing.
Smells sour, funky, sour lemon candy, oak, apple skin, white wine vinegar, musty barnyard, apricot/peach.
A nice blend and balance of saison, sour, and wild ale characteristics. Hard to describe it with any sort of order, as it all sorts of comes at you at once. It tastes like sour than the aroma would indicate. Nevertheless, lemon candy, green apple zest, and white wine vinegar zing the tongue. Hay, slight funkiness, and biscuity wheaty malt, green peppercorn, and clove remind you that the base beer is still a saison. There's also a nice amount of stone fruit and other fruits. Pear, plum, peach, and maybe even a touch of strawberry adds sweetness and balances out the sour, funk, and spice notes. Finishes pretty clean with just a touch of tartness.
Medium-bodied, a bit of heft, moderately carbonated, clean and crisp finish.
Good foeder saison. Very nice beer. Would absolutely buy/drink again.
