A blend of 29-month-old American double stout aged in Buffalo Trace, Heaven Hill, and Willett Rye barrels, conditioned with vanilla beans from Madagascar, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Comoros, Amish maple syrup, and three species of cinnamon. Bold notes of toasted marshmallow, roasted pecans, cinnamon, and maple syrup-drenched French toast pour from this luscious barrel-aged pastry stout.

Taste is bourbon, maple, vanilla, cinnamon, roast malt, moderately sweet, slightly bitter, some bourbon burn. Decent, slightly dry, mouthfeel. Overall world-class.

Jet black pour, with no head or carbonation. The is deep chocolate with a little vanilla, and the taste is chocolate and cinnamon. A very good pour! I was not terribly impressed with the others from this 4-pack, but I would happily buy this one again.

Pours opaque, jet black in color with minimal head. Taste is brown sugar, bourbon, roasted malt and maple on the finish. Heavy bodied, low carbonation, sweet and roasty. Maple comes out more and more as it warms. Complex winter stout

Pours a black inklike color. Head was a forced tiny tan head. Nose is boozy, chocolate and sweet. Taste is very sweet, maple syrup flavors abound. Afterwards a warmth builds but not overwhelmingly so.

Normally cinnamon in stouts is an awful idea, so THREE types of cinnamon will surely be heinous. Nope. This is a beast. The maple syrup is heavy and up front. The vanilla mellows out the middle, then the cinnamon slices through all the sweetness and heaviness. I only bought two, but in hindsight, maybe I’ll see if there’s any left. Fabulous drink.

12oz can brewed at The Brewing Projekt In Eau Claire WI.
Taste is chocolate, maple syrup, molasses, vanilla and mild cinnamon. Hint of marshmallow. Rather sweet. The ABV is very well hidden. Smooth, slightly thick body.

4.42/5 as a dessert/mild pastry stout
A side note: I see this was bottled and canned

12 oz can served in the small glass... perhaps more tulip than snifter. Anyway, this pours cola black with a slight tinge of brown. Small bit of bubbles around the ring, but those disappear quickly. It's a very inert beer. There aren't bubbles shooting off to freedom. A motor oil sort of drink.

The smell is pleasant. Without looking at the notes, it has that malty, stouty goodness with a nice hit of the barrel. I am getting the sweetness of the maple syrup, along with what is probably vanilla. Or cinnamon! The chocolate is, unsurprisingly, strong. Tastewise, it is obviously sweet. The first sip plays into the elevated note of the maple syrup. It rises above the deeper malty, chocolate background. The vanilla and cinnamon give it a very blatant French toast vibe. After a while, there is a slight toasty, nutty aftertaste. I think that the comparison to toasted marshmallows and pecans is accurate. The cinnamon notes also linger. With repeated sips, it really comes out in front. Solid in body, light in carbonation, oily thick, slick and creamy, obviously sweet.

Second of the mixed 4-pack. Good!

12oz can served in a snulip. Shipped to me by @bbtkd from South Dakota, carried by me to Fargo and back. If there's a date on the can, I don't see it.

Pours dark, thick, not quite still but nearly, quite dark vanishingly thin ring of dense head along the rim. Don't see active carbonation from arm's length, but there's a little bit up close when I move the glass around. Smell is rich chocolate, boozy vanilla, molasses sweetness, a whiff of cinnamon bark, maybe more than a whiff.

Taste is sweetness -- maple, molasses, very sweet coffee. Cinnamon is there, but not front and center. Almost comes across as a late-breaking spiciness. Booziness is quite evident, vanilla gets mixed in and not quite drowned out in the sweetness. I get the feeling as it warms up and I drink more of this, the cinnamon's gonna get arrested.

Mouthfeel is thick, silky, smooth. Overall, very tasty, very nice. Would like a tiny bit more carbonation, worried how the cinnamon's going to develop, but hopefully I'm psyching myself out.

Aroma is roasted/slightly smoky malts, cinnamon and a big hint of sweetness. The flavor is fruit/dark fruit, mild chocolate, dark/roasted malts and a slightly vinous/sweet finish.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours jet black with zero head. The nose is vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, molasses, maple syrup,

The taste is really nice. The maple comes out right away. Sweet dark fruit, slight cinnamon, bourbon, vanilla, milk chocolate. A bit syrupy. Quite sweet overall, but still really good.
