Lou Anne is blended from 6 casks of one-year-old saison. The primary aspect of this blend is additional portion of our Spontaneous TenneSPON wort stream; however, in this case, it was open fermented in oak with Saison yeast. The use of Turbid Mashing and Whole Leaf Aged Hops makes the base of this saison very unique, with an herbal, tea like earthiness. To compliment this, we blended a low alpha hopped saison as well as a wild fermented orange wit, which brings a pleasant orange aroma and subtle bitterness.
