Pours a slightly foggy bright yellow with two fingers of white foam. Aroma is spicy, grassy, citrus hops with bready, wafery, caramely malts. Bright hops with a dry malt backbone. Flavor profile is citrus, grassy, herbal, resiny hops with bready, wafery malts. The nose splits hops and malts down the middle, with the flavor profile being driven much more directly by the hops. There is a lingering sugary hop note of citrus at the end. Mouth feel is crisp with a soft start that lands it somewhere between yard beer crisp and IPA boldness. Thickness is medium. Overall, playful hops drive the lager out front, with more typical lager notes - including dryness - being reserved towards the finish. The dynamics here keep it intriguing and engaging.
