Pours the color of melon skin with transparency that resembles fog. Head is a finger of white foam. Aroma is jammy grape. Grape is followed by cellar stone and melon with a tart, but balanced, nose. Earthy malts on the back. Flavor profile is white grape out front, that's to say a sweet start, but tart finish. Cellar stone, oak, and lemongrass add to the depth, before the tart finish. Mouth feel is initially rindy, but finishes smooth. Thickness is medium. Overall, twangy and jammy. Hops add some nice sweetness to the otherwise tart brew.
